Effective Date: 25 May 2026
Flowlet is an iPhone app made by Ben Perry for tracking spending, income, bills, and budgets. This Privacy Policy explains what information Flowlet stores, how that information is used, and what choices you have.
By using Flowlet, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information You Add to Flowlet
Flowlet stores the information you choose to enter into the app. This may include:
- Spending and income entries
- Bill names, amounts, due dates, payees, categories, notes, and payment status
- Budget categories, monthly limits, and warning thresholds
- Payment method labels you create or select
- Reminder settings
- App preferences and settings
This information is used only to provide the app's features, such as showing totals, budgets, bill reminders, widgets, and history.
2. Local Storage
Flowlet stores your app data on your device using Apple's local app storage systems.
Ben Perry does not operate a Flowlet account system, and Flowlet does not require you to create an account.
3. iCloud Sync
If iCloud sync is available and enabled, Flowlet may sync your app data using your private Apple iCloud account so your data can appear across your Apple devices.
iCloud is provided by Apple. Flowlet does not control Apple's iCloud systems. Your use of iCloud is subject to Apple's privacy policy and iCloud terms.
4. Notifications
Flowlet may schedule local notifications if you enable bill reminders or bill due alerts.
Notification content may include information such as a bill name, amount, due date, or payment status. Notifications are handled by iOS and can be managed or disabled in your device Settings.
5. Widgets
Flowlet widgets may display summary information from the app, such as spending, income, budget, or bill information.
Widget data is generated from information stored by Flowlet on your device or synced through iCloud.
6. In-App Purchases
Flowlet Plus purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
Flowlet does not collect, process, or store your payment card details. Apple may provide Flowlet with purchase status information so the app can unlock paid features.
7. Support Requests
If you contact support, you may choose to provide information such as your name, email address, device details, app version, screenshots, or a description of your issue.
Support information is used only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and improve Flowlet.
Please avoid sending sensitive financial information unless it is necessary to explain the issue.
8. Website and Support Form
If you use a Flowlet website or support form, information you submit through that form may be processed by the website host or email provider used to deliver the message.
That information is used only for support and communication related to Flowlet.
9. What Flowlet Does Not Do
- Flowlet does not connect to your bank.
- Flowlet does not access your bank account.
- Flowlet does not move money.
- Flowlet does not actually pay bills.
- Flowlet does not sell your data.
- Flowlet does not use advertising tracking.
- Flowlet does not use your data to build an advertising profile.
- Flowlet does not require a separate Flowlet account.
- Flowlet does not publish or share your spending log.
10. Autopay Feature
Flowlet's autopay setting does not make real payments.
It only controls whether Flowlet records a bill as paid inside the app when the due date arrives. You are still responsible for paying your actual bills outside Flowlet.
11. Analytics and Tracking
Flowlet does not include third-party advertising trackers.
If Apple provides crash logs or diagnostic information through App Store Connect or TestFlight, that information is controlled by Apple and may be used to identify and fix app issues.
12. Data Sharing
Flowlet does not sell your personal information.
Flowlet may rely on Apple services for app distribution, iCloud sync, notifications, widgets, StoreKit purchases, crash reporting, and App Store features.
Flowlet may also rely on website hosting or email services if you contact support through a website or email address.
13. Data Retention
Data you enter into Flowlet remains in the app until you delete it, delete the app, disable sync, or remove it from iCloud according to Apple's settings.
Support messages may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond to the request, keep support records, or improve the app.
14. Deleting Your Data
You can delete entries, bills, and budgets inside Flowlet.
You can also delete the app from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, some data may remain in iCloud until removed through Apple's iCloud storage settings or synced deletion.
15. Security
Flowlet uses Apple platform storage and security features. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
You should protect your device with a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and your Apple ID security settings.
16. Children's Privacy
Flowlet is not designed for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
17. International Users
Flowlet may be available in multiple countries. Apple, website hosting providers, email providers, or support services may process information in countries outside your own.
