Card Symphony is an iPhone app made by Ben Perry for playing card games including blackjack, poker, solitaire, and Game Center online tables. This policy explains what information the app stores and how it is used.
Card Symphony is for entertainment. It does not provide real-money gambling, cash prizes, banking, payments, betting services, or financial advice.
1. Information Stored on Your Device
Card Symphony may store game information on your device using Apple's local app storage systems. This may include:
- Virtual chip balance and chip denominations
- Bankruptcy relief timer state
- Game statistics, such as wins, losses, rounds, hands, busts, pushes, doubles, and card-game wins
- Saved solitaire and spider solitaire game state
- Local app preferences needed to run the app
This information is used only to provide the app's gameplay, bank, table, statistics, and saved-game features.
2. Virtual Chips
Card Symphony uses virtual chips inside the app. Virtual chips have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, cannot be exchanged for money or prizes, and do not represent real currency.
3. In-App Purchases
Card Symphony may offer optional virtual chip packs through Apple StoreKit. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
Card Symphony does not collect, process, or store your payment card details. Apple may provide the app with purchase status information so verified purchases can add virtual chips to your in-app bank.
4. Game Center and Online Tables
Card Symphony uses Apple Game Center for online poker tables. If you use online features, Apple Game Center may handle sign-in, matchmaking, invitations, player identity, and peer-to-peer connections.
During an online table session, Card Symphony may send limited table messages through Game Center, such as ready state, ping messages, timestamp, Game Center player ID, and Game Center display name. These messages are used only to run the online table connection.
5. Support Requests
If you contact support, you may choose to provide your name, email address, screenshots, device details, app version, or a description of your issue.
Support information is used only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and improve Card Symphony.
6. Website and Support Form
If you use a Card Symphony website or support form, information you submit may be processed by the website host or email provider used to deliver the message.
That information is used only for support and communication related to Card Symphony.

8. Apple Services

9. Data Retention and Deletion
Game data stored on your device remains there until you reset it in the app if that option is available, delete the app, or clear related device data through iOS.
Support messages may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request, keep support records, or improve the app.
10. Children
Card Symphony is not designed for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
